Between 23-25 March, the Anti-Corruption Institute participated in the closing event of the Accelerating Results in Open Contracting (ARCA) project, organized by the Open Contracting Partnership and the British Embassy in Colombia. The event was held in the city of Cali, and brought together representatives from local governments, civil society organizations, journalists, and the wider community that works on open contracting in Colombia.
Our Director of Studies and Public Policy, Adriana María Romero Barreto, alongside our Data Analysis Advisor, Ivon Daniela Sepulveda Perez, were the team that represented the Anti-Corruption Institute at the event.
It is important to remember that our organization has been selected by the Open Contracting Partnership as the sole entity in charge of exploring whether the award of public works contracts through special regimes has a significant impact on the risk of corruption in public contracting in Colombia.
