On 27 September, within the framework of the Buenaventura Cómo Vamos (How Are We Doing) initiative and the Open Government Program from the Active Buenaventura Alliance, the Anti-Corruption Institute carried out a day of training for more than 30 public officials from the municipal district on good anti-corruption practices in public functions. Our Director of Planning and Control, María Fernanda Salcedo, and the Director of Strategic Litigation, Alejandro Alvarado Bedoya, oversaw the delivery of the extensive training day.

The Alliance seeks to use this space to strengthen both theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding, thereby preventing the risk of corruption that might arise in the organization. They have been exploring open data tools, transparency and existing regulation as a means to avoid this scourge.
