Camilo Enciso, Director of the Anti-Corruption Institute, was interviewed on national news channel Noticias Caracol to discuss the conflict of interest between the Attorney General and the President. Enciso asserted that, “As long as the Attorney General Barbosa continues to lead the investigations related with Ñeñepolítica, that is to say with the alleged illegal financing of President Iván Duque’s election campaign, there will be no guarantees of impartiality and independence for Colombians, which is extremely serious ”.
