On 10 September 2018, the International Institute on Anticorruption Studies presented a memorandum to the United Nations Security Council calling for greater prioritization of the international anticorruption agenda.
The team was led by the Institute’s Director, Camilo Enciso, who was joined by Ara Stepanyan, Taimi Itembu and Isaías Medina. Together, they drew up a document that outlines the specific areas that they believe require particular attention, bearing in mind the risks that corruption can present to the maintenance of peace and global security.
