On December 12 2019, Camilo Enciso, Director of the Anticorruption Institute, was interviewed by Unicauca where he discussed the different petitions requesting information that the Institute has filed with certain public entities.
One of these is the Colombian National Police Force, where the complete list of official vehicles that are available to the National Police was requested, as well as the names and identification numbers of the officials in charge of these vehicles.
At the same time, information related to travel appointments, donations and gifts received by senior State officials was requested from 36 entities such as the Presidency, ministries, and other agencies and departments, with a view to creating a database for public consultation. However, the provision of the aforementioned details was denied by the entities, on the grounds that the Institute was abusing the right to request information.
