On 18 July, we shared the results of the consultancy carried out by the Open Contracting Partnership, part of the Challenges in Open Contracting framework. The Anti-Corruption Institute presented The Guide to Good Practices for Procurement in Territorial Public Works, which seeks to empower members of the public to participate actively and purposefully in public contracting.
“We shared the main findings and results of our diagnosis. We provided a preview of what you can find in the Guide, once it is released to the public. We also showed the research methodology, the main problems detected and some of the solutions”, said Adriana Romero – Director of Studies and Public Policy at the Anti-Corruption Institute.
The event was supported by the British Embassy in Colombia. Other organizations that participated in the Challenge were FUNCICAR, Mi Cali Contrata Bien, La Contratpedia Caribe, Corlide and OTRA (Transparency Observancy).
