During 2021, the Anti-Corruption Institute led at least three training sessions for the public focused on their new anti-corruption tool, Cabilveo: Transparent Management. This data system has allowed members of the public, journalists, observers, researchers and anyone else who might be interested in lobbying practices in Colombia, to keep track of the visits, agendas, gifts received and trips taken by senior representatives within public organizations that are part of the Colombian State.
On 24 November, the final training session for 2021 took place, with over 42 participants. The focus of this certified session was to empower members of the public to take more control over the conduct of the Colombian State by exercising their right to citizen oversight.
Without a doubt, new training spaces will be opened next year, enabling wider members of the public to find out how they too can exercise their right.
