Margie Mojica, investigative lawyer from the Anti-Corruption Institute, was interviewed by Unicauca regarding the open letter sent by FUERSA to the National Government, the Congress of the Republic, the Constitutional Court and the Council of State. In the letter, members of FUERSA expressed their concerns about the functioning of the State and transparency during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mojica explained that their concerns revolve around some specific issues, such as: an imbalance between the branches of public power, the lack of transparency in hiring, poor accountability, non-compliance in the publishing of contracts on the SECOP platform and the poor example set by Congress in the checks and balance model, among others. Finally, she called upon the public and the media to examine as if with a magnifying the glass the management of resources during the Covid-19 pandemic.
